Trim a video and keep the useful parts
Cut a clip down, keep several sections, or export to another supported format. Your browser handles the processing.
- Choose a video and inspect it in the preview.
- Set the start and end points for the section you want. Use Split at Playhead when you need multiple sections.
- Review the export settings and save the result.
Remove the first few seconds
Move the start point past the part you do not need, leave the end point where you want the clip to finish, and export. Play the saved file to check the cut.
What to know before you start
Import, export, and codec support depend on your browser and device. Changing a container does not guarantee that every player will support the resulting video.
Large videos and re-encoding can take time and memory. A tablet or computer is recommended; keep the page open until the export finishes.
